Newly crowned national champions, Pepperdine Debate reimagines debate as a solutions-oriented, civically engaged, and community-building art form. At Pepperdine, debate values education as a process, and invites students to explore diverse perspectives, develop critical thinking skills, and practice bridge-building in real time.
Our weekly programming includes a competitive team in both English and Spanish, as well as 'What's Happening,' a current events discussion group, and 'Skill Building,' a curriculum-based interactive workshop. We also volunteer in local schools and lead special events throughout the year.
