Debate Team

The Pepperdine Debate co-curricular program reimagines debate as a solution-oriented, civically engaged, and community-building art form. At Pepperdine, debate is multifaceted and grounded in the value of education as a process, offering students opportunities to explore diverse perspectives, develop critical thinking skills, and practice bridge-building in real-time.

This year, our weekly programming includes a competitive team in both English and Spanish, as well as 'What's Happening,' a current events discussion group, and 'Skill Building,' a curriculum-based interactive workshop. We also offer a variety of volunteering opportunities and special events throughout the year.
