The Herbert and Elinor Nootbaar Institute on Law, Religion, and Ethics explores, supports, and fosters connections across these three disciplines. The Institute provides a space for scholarship, dialogue, and action on topics including religious liberty, the academic study of law and religion, the integration of faith into the legal profession, and the ethical challenges faith poses for law. Your gift will support faculty research, conferences, and clinical work, while also funding student learning experiences such as the Religious Liberty Clinic, Faith and Justice spring break trip, curricular enrichment and guest lectures—all cultivating deeper understanding of law’s role within a moral and religious framework.
